Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Master Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining the Master Delivery Schedule (MDS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP) for the manufacturing plant(s) and will support the Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP) in conjunction with plant management. This position will interface with Customer Experience, Finance, and Sales to understand the customers' needs while working with Production, Engineering, and Quality and Distribution to develop material flow plans that meet customer demand while achieving budgetary objectives.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide clear recommendations to drive company-wide priorities that align with management expectations
- Understand the entire production system, processes, and capabilities and ensure their production needs are accurately reflected into the top-level Master Schedule plan
- Process capacity and capability management, bottle neck theories, and production flow
- Notify relevant parties of upcoming schedule/BOM/production constraints, material shortages, risks, options, and work to develop tactical actions to keep Operations on schedule
- Ability to work with the Production Planning Team to develop and implement best practice supply and material flow processes and infrastructure
- Work closely with Logistics, Production, and Engineering teams to understand needs when developing plans
- Develop efficient, accurate, and timely schedule adjustments
- Create metrics to demonstrate process accountability, stability and improvement
- Support supply chain data collection and analysis projects as required
- Drive process stabilization and improvement using lean manufacturing solutions
- Resolve top-level BOM configurations, routing, critical path, and lead-time discrepancies to determine root cause through to solution
- Support ERP implementation and maintenance
- Lead plant performance calls
- Provide key input to supply plan as part of Pre-S&OP
- Item master owner for Planning and Supply Chain parameters
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements (Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field; Minimum 3 years’ of experience in manufacturing, materials, supply chain preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in medical device industry preferred
- Team player able to work well across business functions
- Strategic thinker, strong analytical skills, able to integrate considerable and complex data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- APICS CPIM preferred
- ERP experience required
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles preferred
- Understand supplier, warehousing, and Logistic concepts
- Materials systems experience, concept of replenish, inventories, safety stocks
- Active listener, open to implement ideas and open to other ideas
- Self-starter who is also able to work and communicate well with others in a team environment
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports or business correspondence.
Computer Skills
Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Ability to learn various software programs.
